Tanuj Samaddar has been awarded with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2021 in the field of Art and Culture. He is an artist, illustrator and designer. He has won more than 18 international awards, 45 plus National awards, many state and district level awards for his artwork. His work has been exhibited in the famous Luxembourg Art Palace (France), JQA Art Gallery at Japan, Colorado Springs National Art Gallery, USA and many more. He represented India in the “Draw me Peace” international art competition in France and clinched the gold medal. He also became the first Indian International winner in the “Al Kawther” international “Colour for Hope” art competition 2020 in Burmingham, UK.
He has also received the “Golden artist” title from Picasso International foundation twice. Apart from drawing and painting, he has also received National awards for quizzes. He is also very innovative and won the first prize in State Science and Engineering fair, Assam in 2020.
